We had a fantastic inclusion of entries from the IARc graduate student body for UNC Greensboro’s Graduate Research and Creativity Expo on April 2nd. Nearly all IARc students placed within the top 25% of their categories, and, after much deliberation, both [2nd] year graduates, Amirah Lane and Felicia Dean, received 1st place wins in their respective categories. All in all, the IARc department made a great impression at the Expo. Congratulations to everyone!
Amirah Lane placed first in the Humanities category with her project “Aladdin Kit Homes and the Fisher Park Neighborhood,” and Felicia Dean placed first in the Creative Arts category with her project “From Fashion to Furniture: The Formation of Three-Dimensional Upholstery.” These grads will spring forward in April to represent UNC Greensboro at Graduate Fellowship Reception on April 18th.
