[2nd] Year visits Old Castle

March 31, 2013 § Leave a comment

A week ago, on Wednesday, my fellow students and I visited Old Castle on a field trip for IARc Materials.  We began our tour at Old Castle with a short presentation about the advantages and disadvantages of several types of stone and the possible applications for each.  We took a tour of the manufacturing space, where huge slabs of granite and quartz were all waiting to be cut into custom islands and countertops. We got to see a wide range of colors and materials.
