SHERWIN-WILLIAMS STUDENT DESIGN COMPETITION
Dear UNCG IARc Students,
The third annual Sherwin-Williams STIR Student Design Contest is taking place March 1 – April 15, 2013. There are two categories: residential design and commercial design, which can be completed as an individual or team entry. You may submit designs for a single room or an entire structure, e.g., a retail space, hotel, spa, restaurant, or any other type of spacial design. The requirements are simple: you must utilize a minimum of three Sherwin-Williams colors in your designs in order to qualify. There is a limit of three files per individual/team in a CAD or another illustration software. Supporting information should also be included with each file. The judge will be Jackie Jordan, Director of Color Marketing at Sherwin-Williams. First place winners for each of the two categories will receive $2500, second place winners will receive $1000, and third place winners will receive $500. If you are willing to apply, we encourage you to “take route“ and upload your entry onto their website: swstudentdesign.com.
