This coming week Claudia Aguilera, a graduate student known for her outstanding research on the  project,  An Identity for Mass Production, will be showcasing her work beginning Monday, Febraury 25. Her exhibition, Decoding Crafts, will debut in the lobby in the Gatewood studio arts building with an opening ceremony tomorrow night at 6pm. Claudia’s detail oriented work focuses on communicating her identity through a system of design. This is examined in her exhibition as the viewer is able to see the bigger picture in her designs as they experience her work.  Claudia is a creatively ingenious design student, who has created a fantastic showcase that everyone should go and enjoy. As we move on in the semester, fascinating design showcases like these  from our graduate students are very insightful and inspiring, and allows us to learn from within our an iARC community.
