IAR 201 Fall 2012 _ Professors: Anderson, Jones, McGee _ Project II
This project explored the generation of space(s) by regulating a series of parameters and their relation to another. The investigation for the project started by controlling points and lines, which began to define matter and materialized as surfaces though the complex geometric relations. The projects ranged in size but were constrained to a 100 square foot footprint on the site. The sites chosen were among three locations that exist in Atlanta, Georgia and most students were able to visit their site prior to starting the design. The students were free to work in pairs or alone. The image gallery above shows the final outcome of their explorations.
