IARc Ambassador visits local High School

A few students Carlos met with at Page High School.

Last Thursday, Carlos Smith visited Page High School as an extension of the IARc Ambassador program.  While there, he spoke to all grade levels in their drafting and CAD classes. He was able to connect to the students by showing them his work and the work of fellow UNCG IARc students.

He reported back that the students connected more to hand drawn projects, and were excited at the possibilities of learning to draw the way he could, and advance into computer renderings. They were intrigued by the open floor plan of our studio space, and the dynamic that our program has to offer.  It is the hope that through efforts such as these by Carlos Smith that we will be able to inspire others to explore the possibilities of Interior Architecture, and perhaps join us here at UNCG.
