CAM Studio Redesigned

September 19, 2011 § Leave a comment

This past summer, undergraduate and graduate students  joined Assistant Professor Jonathon Anderson and Woodshop Director Matt Jones to redesign the Computer Aided Making (CAM) studio. This facility centers around digital fabrication and provides a place for students to create technologically advanced designs through utilizing software such as Rhino and Adobe Illustrator. The facility’s design was influenced by the need for better circulation, as well as, providing more work area and storage. Using an innovative configuration, rearranged tables provide more storage space and machine accessibility. Transformed, CAM studio is a place that inspires, encourages, and motivates students and faculty to produce exemplary projects and designs.
