How to Use the Mentor Resource Group
1 – Find a Mentor – Research the mentors and their companies. Select a couple of individuals that you believe have similar interests and/or a career path that you believe you would like to follow. All mentors have to be assigned through Tina Sarawgi. She can let you know if the mentor you selected is available. Only one mentor per student will be allowed.
2 – Ask a Question – Do you have a question about the project you are working on or about the “real world”? Find a mentor that seems like they would be able to help you and shoot them an email. Be sure to identify yourself as an IARC student in the subject line. All the mentors know that they may be hearing from you. However, please respect our mentors’ time and be sure that your questions are well thought out. This will help make this dialogue meaningful for both of you. If the mentor’s email is not listed on the page you can go to the IARC office or to Tina to get it.
